Holiday Can Food Drive and Activity

pumpkin pie made of cansStudent Council and FFA are collecting canned and boxed foods for the holiday season. These food items will be donated to our local food bank. All students are encouraged to bring in items and may begin bringing in items now. The homeroom who brings in the most items will receive a prize. This year we are going to have a little fun with our canned and boxed goods before we donate them. PCMS is going to participate in the "Construct-We-Can" challenge. Each team will use their donated items to create a structure using only the canned and boxed goods brought in by students. The structures will be displayed and a winner selected! So, please bring in your canned and boxed foods and lets have some fun and provide a community service at the same time!

Georgia Parent Survey

Georgia School Parent SurveyParents, your input counts! The Georiga Department of Education has opened the Georgia Parent Survey for the 2018-2019 school year. This instrument is a vital communication tool which allows you to give feedback to us and the state department concerning areas in which we are doing well and areas that we need to improve. Also, your participation in the survey assists the department of education in calculating our School Climate Star Rating.

The survey should take about 5-10 minutes to complete. The link to take the survey is: http://gshs.gadoe.org/parents

At the website, you will see a drop-down menu to select the Pierce County School District and then Pierce County Middle School.

We appreciate your cooperation as well as your input to make PCMS the best it can be.
