Cross country is a sport for ambitious, hard-working individuals who crave personal challenge. With a focus on commitment, improvement, health/fitness, and a positive team atmosphere the Pierce County Middle School cross country program strives to offer student-athletes the physical fitness and psychological confidence to excel in the sport as well as develop strong character traits to meet challenges both on and off the running trails. Most importantly, the cross country program supports and promotes the mission of the Pierce County School System and the board of education in our efforts to promote excellence.
Cross Country is a fall sport that runs from August through October. Tryouts are held in May of the preceding school year. Our conference consists of nine teams. Each year we compete for a chance at winning the SEGAMSC title. We have achieved eleven titles thus far.
